Pépinière Villeneuve is proud to announce that it is revamping its interior site with a brand new boutique ready to welcome the numerous regional customers, as well as revamping its exterior site to welcome families and horticulture enthusiasts in the enchanting paths of this official tourist site.

Pépinière Villeneuve, which has been in operation since 1988, retains the same experienced management team, but will now benefit from the support of a new shareholder in the dynamic team of Oliva Horticulture to meet the needs of its customers. 

Mathieu Lagacé, who has been working at Pépinière Villeneuve as Assistant Director – Sales and Marketing since 2016 and who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UQTR, has been named General Manager. “I am delighted with the trust the new administration has placed in me and the entire team to carry out the mission of bringing Pépinière Villeneuve closer to its community. It is a source of pride for me to lead a company with such great credibility in its community, allowing me to combine my passion for horticulture and regional tourism,” says Mathieu.

With the arrival of Oliva Horticulture in 2022, the company was able to establish a solid succession and growth plan to succeed founder Pierre Villeneuve. The revitalization of the store was a natural fit for the new owners who are excited to build strong and lasting relationships with the local community. “This new store is part of our long-term vision for the growth of this business, which is to combine outstanding personalized service to meet the varied and specific needs of the people of Lanaudière,” says Martin Breault, president of Oliva Horticulture.

In addition to its horticultural vocation, Pépinière Villeneuve is a certified agri-tourism enterprise that allows families and nature lovers to enjoy interpretation trails in the maple grove and a bird observatory. This year, the company, which is strongly rooted in its community, will offer visitors a mini-farm, organized tours and a wide range of activities for its 35th anniversary. Pépinière Villeneuve wishes to solidify its position as a regional tourist and economic player.

The new store, along with the entire Pépinière Villeneuve garden center, will officially open on Friday, March 31, 2023.
